19 Momme Silk: Pillowcases, Bedding, Gift Sets and Crane Print Sleepwear

What 19 Momme Feels Like

Momme measures how much silk goes into the fabric. At 19 momme, silk is smooth and fluid, with a soft sheen and a light hand. It moves easily in a pajama set and lies flat on a pillow. Pillowcases in Solids and Prints

The pillowcases come in solid colors and in a range of designs. The Two-tone Design case is silk on both sides, in pairings such as gold with light beige or black with silver. The printed cases include the Snowbud Lily floral, leopard, and artistic designs named Pink Cat, Yellow Heart Geo, Navy Dragon, Navy Seahorse and Clay Elephant. Some listings let you choose an envelope closure or a hidden zipper in the Closure option, while others are separate listings for each closure, so check the product name and options. Sizes run from toddler (13" x 18") to king (20" x 36"). Single listings are priced for one case, and the 2-piece bundles are priced for two.

Sheets, Duvet Cover and Bedding Sets

The fitted and flat sheets, the duvet cover and the bedding sets cover the whole bed in 19 momme, from twin to California king. The fitted sheet has a 16-inch (40 cm) pocket with an elastic edge. Bedding set names list their contents, so read the title to see whether a set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet or a duvet cover with its two pillowcases.

Crane Print Sleepwear for Women and Men

The crane print sleepwear includes women's pajama sets in short and long sleeves, kimono robes, a nightshirt with a high-low hem, and men's pajamas and sleep shorts. For a couple, the women's and men's long-sleeve crane print pajama sets both come in dark blue and black. Women's styles are sized from XS(4) to XL(14), with one long-sleeve set running to XXL(16/18), and the men's crane print styles start at XS(34).

Woven silk has very little stretch, so compare the product measurements, given in inches and centimeters, with sleepwear you already own. The listings note that these are measured by hand and may be off by 1 to 2 cm. The top and bottom of a pajama set come in the same size. A small number of styles here have "Clearance" in the product name. These are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Caring for 19 Momme Silk

Wash printed and dark pieces on their own, away from lighter silk. For everything else, the routine in our silk care guide applies: water no warmer than 35°C (95°F), a silk detergent, a gentle press instead of rubbing, and drying inside out in the shade, never in a tumble dryer.
